Boarding Contract

The Kennel assures you that your pet will be well fed, kept in Sanitary and Safe quarters, and given full care. Due care and diligence having been exercised, we are not responsible for loss or for damage by disease, death, running away, theft, injury to persons, property and other dogs, or other unavoidable causes. The Owner accepts full responsibility for any damages or injuries caused or inflicted by the pet.

In cases of illness, the Owner and/or the listed veterinarian will be called. If the Owner is unavailable or no veterinarian is listed, we shall have the right to take the pet to our veterinarian and to administer medicine if necessary, and such expenses shall be paid by the Owner. The Owner represents his pet is now healthy and has not been exposed to any disease and has current Rabies, Parvo, Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptosporosis, Coronavirus (DHLPPC), and Bordetella (canine cough).

The Kennel is hereby granted a lien on the above described pet(s) so long as it is in the possession of the Kennel for all sums due the Kennel by the Owner. The pet shall not be removed from the kennel without the expressed consent of the Kennel unless payment in full is made of all accrued charges. If the Owner does not pay in full the amount of charges billed by the Kennel within 10 days of billing while pet is in the kennel, or if the pet is not picked up by Owner within 10 days of the agreed upon date, the Kennel shall have the right to enforce the obligation of the Owner by sale of the pet(s). The amount due at the time of sale shall include all charges accrued up to the time thereof.

The Owner agrees to observe the Kennel's normal business hours and further agrees to pay for day(s) reserved when not notifying the Kennel at least 24 hrs. prior to the first reserved day. It is mutually understood this agreement is binding at any time the pet is under the care of the Kennel, including any times in the future in which the said pet(s) may be left with the Kennel. Rates charged by the Kennel for services will be in effect on the first day reserved, and are subject to change without notice to the Owner and without affect on this agreement. Pet(s) picked up before 10a.m. will not be charged for that day.

Should the pet(s) expire while in the care of the Kennel, the Owner hereby authorizes the Kennel to dispose of the pet(s) in a manner permitted by law, unless the Owner provides specific written instructions to the contrary. Any expenses incurred in the disposition of the deceased pet accrue to the Owner.
